“We believe our expertise developed for the global telecom space – namely our ability to rapidly build large-area coverage of entire cities, regions and even countries – is equally applicable to the simulation and training space,” explained Albéric Maumy, managing director of LuxCarta. “We had a positive response at last year’s I/ITSEC exhibition. We’re continuing to learn about the specific needs and requirements of this community and we’re investing in our R&D and marketing to participate in a larger way.”
In welcoming LuxCarta, Graham McIntyre, chairman of ETSA commented: “The training and simulation community in Europe depends on small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) and ETSA is delighted that a leading company like LuxCarta has joined. ETSA is run by the members for the members and I look forward to their participation in the association.
“We’re looking forward to proving ourselves to the simulation and training community,” added Maumy. “We have a great deal of remote sensing and photogrammetry expertise that is transferable to their end users. Indeed, our on-the-shelf catalogue has generated a great deal of interest already.”
